The NJ Registry Career Lattice: Updated in 2015!

Together with the Workforce Committee of the NJ Council for Young Children, Professional Impact NJ’s Clearinghouse Committee has updated the NJ Registry Career Lattice to be easier to understand and more user-friendly for the many professionals working in diverse settings in NJ’s early childhood and afterschool workforce!

The NJ Registry Career Lattice is now represented by an all-new display of steps in New Jersey’s early childhood and afterschool professional development pathway, from the entry-level staff member to the seasoned professional (Click Here). Your new level on the NJ Registry Career Lattice can be found by logging into your NJ Registry personal profile and looking in the "Personal Information" section.

We are also excited to announce that beginning in March 2015, you will only have to renew your NJ Registry membership every three years! Click Here to see the new renewal requirements.

In addition, due to the volume of documentation being received, the NJ Registry will no longer accept faxed documentation effective March 16, 2015. You may submit your documentation in the following ways:

Welcome to the NJ Registry !

The NJ Registry is an on-line database which records and recognizes a person’s education, training and work experience in the field of early childhood education, afterschool, and primary education! Our goal is to help participants track their annual professional development hours while providing data about the NJ early childhood workforce. Participants will be approved at one of the six levels on the NJ Registry Career Lattice, based on their education and experience. Joining the NJ Registry

Joining the Registry is simpler than ever, since it is done on-line and there is NO membership fee. You will be asked to enter your personal information (ex: name, address, phone, e-mail address, etc.) and your current employment information. Once you have completed your profile, you can mail or e-mail proof of education which will be entered into your NJ Registry profile. If you have an existing account that has "Expired", you do not have to create a new account; you will just need to renew your membership. NJ Registry Enhanced Training Module

Many NJ Training Agencies have entered into a joint collaboration with Professional Impact NJ (PINJ).They are using the NJ Registry database to conduct registration for their agency’s trainings. Therefore, participants who wish to register for a workshop hosted by either agency must first become a member of or renew their membership with the NJ Registry.
